November 13 will be a historic day in Mithilanchal region of Bihar when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone and perform Bhoomi Pujan of the construction of the much awaited AIIMS in Darbhanga Darbhanga AIIMS built on about 188 acres of land will be the second AIIMS of Bihar 1261 crores will be spent on the construction of this AIIMS with a capacity of 750 beds which will be completed in the next 3 years Hospital in Darbhanga AIIMS Along with the service, MBBS and nursing studies will also be done in AIIMS Darbhanga. There will be 125 MBBS seats and 60 nursing seats. Construction of AIIMS in Darbhanga will provide world class health facilities to the people of Mithilanchal and surrounding areas. The construction of this AIIMS will benefit about 22 districts of North Bihar and crores of people of coastal area of Nepal, set from Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Along with the Bhoomi Pujan of AIIMS in Darbhanga, he will also inaugurate Darbhanga Bypass Railway Station. Rs 389 crore has been spent on the construction of this Darbhanga Bypass Railway Station. The construction of this bypass station will eliminate the hassle of engine rotation by making trains going from Sitamarhi Raxaul towards Madhubani Jhanjharpur Saharsa at Darbhanga Junction and will also save time for it Apart from this, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone and inaugurate the schemes for widening of the new and old National Highway, this will increase the facility of better connectivity between Mithilanchal and Seemanchal. With world class health care and better transportation facilities in Mithilanchal region, there will be a revolutionary change in this region, which will lead to development in this region. Along with this, employment opportunities will increase
Today, the foundation stone of AIIMS Darbhanga in Bihar is being laid. Quality health care will be ensured not only for Darbhanga but also for a large population of many nearby districts like Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Khagaria, Saharsa, Madhepura, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar. Not only will it benefit the people of entire Bihar, West Bengal and eastern Uttar Pradesh and increase the passenger traffic. Construction of ROB on the 240-meter bridge at Banduganj will provide relief from traffic jams at level crossings and will improve connectivity between Chhapra and Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. The national highway projects for which the foundation stone is being laid today are Ramnagar to Rosera, Ahmedabad to Manihari, Hajipur to Mehanar, Sarwan to Chakai, Katihar to West Bengal border, road construction with two-line paved shoulder, construction of five bypasses with two-line paved shoulder at Katoria, Lakhpura, Banka and Raniganj, and 4-lane widening from Paharpur to Bodhgaya Dhumuan, Surface Triangle, Bakhtiyarpur Flower and Darbhanga Bypass Line.
